Two months is all I have left before I have to bite the bullet and go back to work. So, I’ve been doing some work on getting things organized before this current life has to change. We refinanced our mortgage to get a hold on our money (or lack thereof). It’s like starting with a clean slate and it feels great. Working with the bank is never fun and in this case it was quite painful as they seemed to be a bunch of screw ups. Thank God for my mommy, who is a mortgage broker; it really helps to have her spell things out to me.

My mom was in town visiting this last week and she took me shopping for new clothes. It reminded me of back to school shopping but without the binders and pencil cases….you know, the fun stuff. Shopping for clothes post preggo was definitely not the ideal way for me to spend my time but it was a necessary evil. Now I don’t have to go back to work in my pajamas, as much as I’d like to, I don’t think it would go over well.

In this post I spoke about minivans and tomorrow we are going to test drive drive one. I think we’ve settled on the Kia and I scoped out a possible contender. I hope it works out well.

So there’s a little update on me. Little H had a great visit with her grandma. Her auntie stopped by too. It was nice to see them interacting now that Little H is much more social. Needless to say, not much happened in the creative realm but sometimes real life has to take over. I’ll get back to other stuff soon.
