One of the biggest lessons I’m trying to learn is that just because I don’t have all the time in the world, doesn’t mean I don’t have time to do something. If I have 10 minutes, I can do 10 minutes worth of something creative. I can write a blog post. I can snap some photos. I can read a creative focused blog. 10 minutes shouldn’t be thrown away because it’s not 100 minutes.
So when I found One Hour Craft – it spoke to me and I thought I should share it with you. It’s not flashy. It’s not Martha-ish. It’s all about real, fun, projects that can be completed in one hour. Some of them are kitschy. Some of them are super cute. All of them are one hour long. Check it out.

I love the one hour craft site. Very fun and useful! I loved thinking about inspiration and blogging about that too!
oh, I struggle with the same thing, no big time chunks
The solution is just that Heather, thanks so much for the one hour crafts. Cute button flowers.
I can relate to this perfectly. I love the idea of one hour. I have a tendency to do one thing a day, very well. I have a hard time coming up for air… apparently, this overfocusing is part of my ADD. Would have never guessed that one. I linked to an essay about going to see Springsteen with my husband that I posted today. The experience was kind of like my coming out party from the fog of early years of parenting
I know how you feel. Lack of time is one reason I gave up knitting and crocheting. I’ve got a toddler I’m chasing when I’m not blogging or cooking or cleaning so labor intensive projects are usually done for a special occasions-like a birthday gift. Hopefully I can get more creative time when the little one gets bigger and requires less chasing!
absolutely right – if all you have is a few minutes here and there, use those minutes!
I have a really hard time with this concept. If I only have ten minutes to do something, it tends to be so much more sloppy than when I take my time and do it thoroughly. Of course, I’m a perfectionist too. That might be the root of the problem :s
Wow, I totally feel this post!!! I struggle with the time thing but I think I finally gave in to the 10 minute dilemma as I mention in my post today. Thanks so much for the 1 hour craft website. Wow!!! So many things to make in an hour. Oh, and thanks so much for your comment on my blog last week, so nice to be missed!
That’s a pretty cool site. I may have to check that out when I have the urge to do something creative besides write. I wish I had something inspiring me this week… I’ve been racking my brain for most of the day. Hmmm?? I missed last week so I have to come up with something. Well, to be honest, I thought of something earlier and it has totally slipped my mind.
Thanks so much for participating everyone! What an intriguing group of links today. So inspiring!
