I was lucky this past week to be one of a small group of people to have a sneak peek at what will be the new MomDot.com. Trisha and her crew have worked hard to develop a community, and now, they are working to provide a space for that community to showcase their talents and really interact with each other. I’ve been told that it should be up and running in about a week or so. I know I’m looking forward to having a much more throughout look around and if you’re a blogging mom, you’ll want to head over and check out all the resources available to you.
It almost makes me feel like changing things up around here, but, as tempting as site makeovers may be, I know that path is one that will suck me into hours of designing, tweaking and also swearing! So I’ll suppress the desire for now.
But what’s going on in your life? Is there something that you can just turn on it’s head and change? Think about it. Change is one of the best boosters of creativity out there. So if you need a little pep, change something up. Here’s hoping Mr. Linky plays nice today – I’ve missed out on some of your posts these past weeks because of his naughty behavior. Please share your creative inspired post links! I’m looking forward to seeing what you’re up to!

You can’t start a fire without a spark. Yup.
Silly girl, you just changed the format here, but I know what you mean. One tiny little change in a new direction takes us on an entirely different path.
I used to be terrified of changes but have come to find that it’s inevitable anyway, so why not choose your own path with a specially designed change?
Naughty is a funny word.
great stuff, being a WAHM I need all the online resources I can get!

Well, I haven’t been feeling particularly creative lately. The exact opposite actually. You’re right, change can spark creativity, but with all the changes I’ve been going through I am sad to admit that it is all getting to me. I haven’t been able to build passion or find my muse for blogging, which is something that I normally love doing.
Your post got me to thinking if there is something I can do to re-energize myself. I’m not sure. … Between the printer that doesn’t work, my laptop that doesn’t charge, my daughter leaving for college in less than a week, the pending divorce and all the stuff going on with that and on and on; my brain is just tired.
Sorry to vent like that in the comment. I’ll see if my brain will work to do my MM.
I’d love to change the feeling that I’m constantly picking up the balls I’ve dropped. Need to get “caught up” so more creating can occur!!
One great change that evolved is the Thursday Giveaways on my blog. It started as a mix of Pay it Forward & destashing the studio. Has evolved a bit with other’s donating prizes (very cool). I love thinking each Thursday that somebody’s day just got better when they find they’ve won free art, jewelry or supplies!
I love that I have a lot of time during the summer to be creative. Of course I should be spending my time doing my mile long project list…but alas…the creative bug bites, and create I must! Thanks for the opportunity to post a project on Mr. Linky!
