Our tickets included admission to the park, our train ride, the event tents (face painting, story etc) and I think the horse/buggy ride but we didn't do that. Yes, the bakery, candy store and ice cream store were open as were the restaurants and midway. Not all the exhibits were open, many of the farm animals weren't there but there was so much to do we didn't hit it all anyway. Have fun, I'm jealous and would love to go again!!

I'm so excited to find this post detailing your visit. We have tickets for this Saturday at Heritage Park. My 4 year old grandson eats, breathes and sleeps Thomas.
I was wondering if you also have to pay for admission to the park on top of your Day Out tickets and is there anything else open? The bakery for instance?

Looks like great fun. We took JOsh to various of these kinds of things when he was little and I still have fond memories.

Yes, my son loved it! No matter where we were in the village and Thomas came by, we went running towards the tracks to get pictures and wave!
