This pregnancy is definitely harder on my body. I don’t know if it’s that I’ve been ‘used’ once before or if I’m just older but holy lord…I can’t even lie on the couch without my hips cracking and popping! Last night I stood up and my hip felt kind of ‘pinched’ and I couldn’t stand up straight. It was pathetic. Really. Then there’s the falling asleep at 7pm (or at least wanting to really, really badly.) and eating bland food because anything spicy stirs up my indigestion and the constant need to pee.
If this is a glimpse into my future as a senior citizen I hope I go out in a blaze of glory…otherwise I’ll be that woman who screams from her motorized wheel chair in the mall for those damn kids to get outta my way. I can see it now.

Well, lets see, I’m male rather than female, not pregnant but older than you, and my symptoms when I lie on the couch sound just the same. One difference is I don’t mind spicy food.
LOL! My pregnancy with Jillian was brutal too. I think 2nd children just like to eff with you.
I had that problem with my 2nd…plus I gained 70lbs…
I would laugh if I didn’t know exactly what you mean. Get some rest, hon! I had those same issues with my last one. The second and fourth were rough! Cracking hips, sciatic nerve, indigestion and all kinds of old people stuff. Hang in there … and please.go.to.sleep.
I had a nap yesterday! It felt so nice to just get some zzzz
Thanks for your commiseration
This is me, being thankful to be a part of the weaker sex.
