We went to a beautiful wedding on a lovely old farm on Denman Island (BC). Hannah was the flower girl, and so, she became obsessed in searching for butter cups and clover.
I found these beauties in the garden.
Nate ran until he could run no more.
I thought these droopy petals looked like pretty skirts
Hannah got to drive Papa’s tractor
and they had some ‘sprinkler’ time too!
I hope you had an awesome summer. Ours was pretty nice

Great pictures! Nate is adorable. So is Hannah, of course.
And you’re right, those droopy flowers do look kind of like skirts. I especially like the one on the left with the dark burgundy.
These are such beautiful pictures, Heather! I especially like the ones with the kids and the rustic backgrounds. They would make awesome postcards, would probably win big in a photo contest! Great job! Thanks for sharing!
Those pictures are gorgeous, of course!
I can not wrap my head around the fact that your baby is walking… When in the world did that happen? I mean, I guess I should have known since Anna and Hannah all full people now. LOL… But good grief! I saw his picture (was it Facebook or Instagram?) and it didn’t even register that he is your son. Couldn’t be, I thought to myself! Hannah was a beautiful flower girl and I love her hair like that.
I must say I was quite distracted by the pictures of food in your sidebar. How not nice of you to tempt me with goodies when I don’t feel like cooking or baking. Okay, I don’t even like to anymore so it’s extra torturous. Ugh. LOL.
Oh, I just remembered, we BOTH have a birthday coming up! Are you excited?
Petula, Nate is turning TWO in Oct! I don’t know how the time has passed so quickly either. My birthday has passed, it was nice but quiet. I don’t think ‘excited’ is the word I use to describe how I feel about birthdays anymore!!
