Last year I worked out a little Vision planner because January is all about organizing for me. I just don’t feel like I can start a new year with all of last years problems and clutter hanging around. I worked through this planner to realize I needed to fix our mudroom problems. And then I fixed them. I still have many problem areas in our house so I revamped the planner for this year and am working my way through it again. It’s not meant to take hours to complete but it is meant to walk you through the vision you have for your spaces.
Since it has helped me to rework a few areas of my home I thought I’d share it with you too. This year I’m offering my printables as a thank you to email subscribers. If you haven’t subscribed yet you can do so here and grab the planner download link after you activate your subscription. Current email subscribers will get the download link in their weekly newsletter (published Thursdays.)
It’s a great idea to begin a binder with these pages and use it to tuck in bits of inspiration over the year. Pages from magazines that inspire you, samples of fabrics and maybe paint swatches too can help you build a vision of what you want your space to be. The idea behind the vision plan is to keep to mind what is important to us and what is not. If we find ourselves walking into a room and getting that feeling of dread because it’s become cluttered then we can refer back to the plan and review the vision. It will give us a great jumping off point to bringing that room under control quickly and easily. Enjoy!
