Hey, I’m Heather Eigler – this is my house.
I do my best to pick the funny out of every day occurrences and I hope I can make you laugh from time to time. I live in Calgary with my two little kids and a few animals…and my husband. He’s not an animal, I don’t think.
I love writing about food although, sometimes I set the kitchen on fire.
I love writing about wine and drinking it too.
I adore writing about my family – both the good times and the trying ones.
My house is small and needs a lot of work but I do my best to get creative and make it mine.

I work from home as a blogger and freelance writer. My work has been bought and paid for by Bride and Groom Canada Magazine, Sweetmama.ca and UrbanMoms.ca to name a few. My background is in Sales and Marketing but I feel like I’ve done enough of that for now. Now I want to be home with my kids, write and play around on facebook and twitter. It’s my calling.
Oh and I’ve also been interviewed at Canadian Grocer.
