About Heather -
Heather Eigler is a long time blogger (10+ years!) and social media enthusiast. She lives and works out of her home just west of Calgary with her husband and two small children (Hannah, Age 7 and Nate, Age 4.) In addition to this website, Heather also writes for Canada Safeway’s Table Talk.
Heather is a creative soul at heart and her passions lie in writing and hands on DIY projects. Getting in the kitchen to make healthful meals for a family with gluten sensitivities is also priority and you’ll see those results in the recipe section here.
Home To Heather Highlights -
The story of how I found the perfect dresser for my daughter’s room. Sometimes, paint is the only answer.
2013 was a tough year for Rob who came down with a common cold that turned into a diagnosis of Phrenic Nerve Palsy. We’re happy to report that we are adjusting well.
Building a holiday season from the riches of our community meant Swap Shopping my way to Get Real Live’s radio show. This experience has brought about so much good for our family and I will forever be an enthusiastic #swapshop participant.
My mom bought the perfect gift for my 35th birthday. After a makeover this vintage secretary desk is the new command center for Home To Heather. (Featured on Apartment Therapy!)
One of the best opportunities to come my way was heading to Sparkling Hill Resort with my best girlfriends. It was an amazing time and I think about how peaceful and opulent the experience was often. I can’t wait to go back!
Working with CIL Paint in 2014 was so much fun. I had the most amazing opportunity to help shoppers in Home Depot choose the best paint colours for their DIY projects. I learned about how awesome Melamine Paint is and used it on our dining room table to make sure the finish would stand up against our kids.
