Slow Cooker Greek Turkey Pita Sandwiches

These turkey sandwiches are a new favorite slow cooker recipe of ours. It’s fairly simple to make – even if you take the time to make your own Pita Pockets (which we do, because they’re awesome.) and you can change up the recipe to suit what ingredients you have in your pantry.  Lettuce or spinach would be a nice addition or you could do chicken instead of turkey. Also, even through it’s not ‘greek’ an icy Corona Margarita like Sam made the other day would suit the meal just fine….mmmmmm.  Very refreshing and light.
