Back Yard Movie Night with Springfree Trampolines! #giveaway #springfreefamily

I’m super excited to share this sweet family fun, back yard movie idea with you!  And guess what? Springfree trampolines are the safest on the market because they use tension rods underneath instead of springs around the jumping mat AND because the incredibly strong flexinet keeps the kids where they are supposed to be.  You can’t land on the frame or fall off of this baby!  My kids have been having so much fun bouncing, they’ve used it almost every day since it arrived.  I was scared it might be one of those things that they use for a few days and then lose interest in but that is SO NOT the case here.  They love using the basketball net to challenge each other and the fun just keeps on going……right into a family movie night!

It was pretty easy to transform the net into a movie screen with a king sized white sheet.  Springfree has instructions HERE if you’d like to give it a go.  They also have some fun printables to make your movie night extra special.  My kids got a huge kick out of handing out tickets to grandma and grandpa.

We set up the screen and used a projector and laptop for the movie, How to Train your Dragon is still a major box office hit at our cinema and I just loaded up Netflix to run it, our wifi reached to the backyard which was a pleasant surprise. I put out a snack tray of treats and everyone enjoyed popcorn and candies as we waited for the shade to darken the yard.

Here is what our concession looked like – I used some of the printables to make it feel authentic, it was so easy to do.  I just printed them, cut them out and stuck them in place with tape or clothespins.

Super fun right? We were able to get a pretty large picture on our movie screen, and as it was just us, the laptop speakers worked well enough.  You could use an additional one if you needed for an authentic theatrical effect.  This would be a fantastic event to host for your neighbours. What a great way to get everyone together in the backyard!
