Yesterday was one of the best days I’ve had in a long time. I had the pleasure of attending a taping of Cityline right in our own Chinook Mall. It was a Home Day episode and as you can guess…Home Day is my favorite day!
I'm so excited its almost embarrassing. #citylineab

Brian Gluckstein, Kimberly Seldon and Sharon Gretch were all on set with host Tracy Moore. Let me tell you, these folks have almost as much energy as my toddler! They were fun to watch in between sessions and there was much laughter to be had. You can tell they all really enjoy what they do. At one point, Brian Gluckstein snapped a picture of Tracy’s skirt as he felt it would make the perfect bath towel. I have to agree. It was white and navy stripes. Classic.
Here I am with Brian and Tracy. I’m the one in Brian’s shadow HA! They were just so friendly and open and happy to make conversation with everyone.
I don’t want to give away all the show secrets because you really should watch the episode when it airs but I do want to share this. Brian has a new collection of all of his favorite Benjamin Moore colors packed up in one swatch set.
Isn’t it awesome? One of the colors is called Vintage Wine (it’s featured on the show….tune it to see how) and I think it might make the perfect shade for painting my Grandma’s dining room hutch. It’s had a few nicks and dings over the years and while I want to keep it, I think it could be super cute all painted up. I see it with wall paper on the inside or maybe a bight contrasting color. What do you think?
If you’re going to be near Chinook today then head in and catch another taping…there was lots of standing room available. They will be doing two shows today – one at 11am and one at 3pm. I recommend you arrive at least a half hour early so you can get pictures with all the fab folks there. The 11am show stars Host Tracy Moore, star chefs Massimo Capra and Michael Bonacini, stylist Sandra Pittana and paint specialist Sharon Grech and the 3pm show stars Host Tracy Moore, stylists Lynn Spence and Sandra Pittana, makeup artist Derek Selby, and local hair stylist Jami Symons. Head down towards the Bay and you won’t miss it.
Catch this episode of Cityline next Thursday July 5th at 10am!
That’s a gorgeous colour… I might have to paint something with it! 🙂 Glad you had fun!
I’m seriously in love with it
Looks like a fun day!
it was – Home Day is my most favorite…surprised eh?
Cool. It looks and sounds like you had fun!
I sure did 🙂
So excited for you. I love your Tweet. Glad to know that I am not the only one who ‘almost’ embarasses herself on a regular basis.
That is almost the exact color of my living room and I love it! Looks like you had a great time and you are beautiful as always!
