I’m not a huge ‘ready made’ foods buyer. If I can make it from scratch I usually try to – mostly for economic reasons but also for health reasons. I like to control the sugar we consume. But there are times when I lay in bed 15 min too long and just want to pour milk on something and call it breakfast. There are times when I don’t want to muck up the kitchen for lunch. There are times when I just want things to be easy. We all have these times, and at times like these it can be a challenge to find gluten free products that fit our easy living needs.
There’s nothing I hate more than spending good money on something only to have the kids turn their noses up and toss it in the garbage. Money down the tubes is not something I’m ok with. If you’ve been eating gluten free then you know what I’m talking about. It’s tough to find gluten free products that taste great.
Well, I’ve done some of the work for you. These seven 10 gluten free products are GOOD. They’re tasty and the kids love them and you can find them in your regular supermarket – no special trip to the health food store required. Some of these are brands you know and love, some might be new to you but give them a shot. They’re good. They’re easy and they’re gluten free!
These foods are staples in our pantry and recurring must-buys on our shopping list. They are my go-to brands and I am so happy to have found them. I hope you enjoy them too and if you try one let me know what you think!

Cool! I’ve been wanting to try eliminating gluten in my son’s diet to see if it helps his eczema but have been reluctant because what the heck would I feed the kid aside from produce and protein!
Good luck!
Great tips! I’m in love with those Breton crackers and looking forward to trying out the other products you mentioned.
I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited about a cracker in my life.
Hey, we like a lot of these items too! Now… to find a good wrap….
Yeah. I’ve not had luck on that front yet either.
I also like the Glutino cereal bars
OOOH Are they good? I’ve been hit and miss with Glutino. Some things are ok and some aren’t so great. You never know until you try em I guess!
Ermagerd. Ginger Molasses cookies. Yes.
Yes indeed. The Lemon ones are really good too!
Chex Honey GF is really good. And Loblaws has a GF two bite brownie that tastes like their regular ones. I like Glutino’s English muffins but with all GF breads, they need to be toasted. Udi’s breads aren’t too bad either. Love the new Breton crakers! Haven’t found a good wrap either.
Oh yes, Chex is great! And you know, an English muffin might be nice to have on hand. I’ll give those a try! Thanks for your recommendations!
Thanks for including our Hidden Garden Red Velvet cookies on your list Heather! Much appreciated!
Thank you for this information. I am trying out gluten free products. Is there a gluten free Peanut Butter on the market?
Hi Marcia,
Most peanut butters are gluten free. We prefer a natural one that doesn’t have added sugar, they are typically only made with peanuts and sometimes salt.
